Myrtos & Asos or Assos Kefalonia

Just north of Myrtos on the west coast road to Fiscado lies Asos or Assos (depending on which spelling you prefer).

Just one of the dangers of Myrtos Bay (see part 1).  The winds swirl down in the bay and the Chums saw the landing paragliders had an strong affinity for the sun beds on the beach. Except coming in at 20kph they tend to catapult the occupant out onto the sand before they know what's happened to them. Still I suppose its easier than getting up at dawn put your towel out.
