Drive straight out the back of Skala and up the hill and you come to Old Skala.  The Chums found driving much easier than walking. Most photos have the olive press in shadow, because the reps tell you to walk up there in the early morning.  It is worth a visit, you will realise how realistic the village in Captain Corelli really is.

The main risk if you drive carefully are errant goats
